Three members of the Red Deer Rebels are included in the NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings for the 2022 NHL Draft.

Defenceman Jace Weir is ranked 55th among North American Skaters. The 2004-born native of Coldstream, B.C. has 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 30 games so far this season. Weir was selected by the Rebels in round two, 38th overall at the 2019 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft.

Forward Kai Uchacz is ranked 95th among North American Skaters. The 2004-born De Winton, Alberta native has 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) in 31 games this season, his first with the Rebels after being acquired last off-season from the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Goaltender Chase Coward is ranked 30th among North American goaltenders. The 2003-born native of Swift Current, SK has a 9-7-1 record with a 2.42 goals against average (6th among WHL starting goalies) and .915 save percentage (8th) so far this season. Coward was listed and signed by the Rebels in November 2019.

The 2022 NHL Entry Draft will be held on July 7-8, 2022, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
