Three Hitmen named to 2007 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce three members of this year's team will play in the 2007 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

Karl Alzner, Brett Sonne and Alex Plante will all suit up on January 17th in Quebec City. They are among 40 of the CHL's top players who are eligible for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

They were selected by the National Hockey League's 30 teams and will be separated into two teams prior to the event.

"This is a major event where scouts can see all the premier draft-eligible players in Major Junior hockey compete head-to-head," said Director of Central Scouting for the NHL, EJ McGuire.
