Three Comebacks Not Enough
September 1, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Lookouts fell behind the Generals three times and could not make a fourth try stick in the 7-5 loss in Jackson last night. When the Generals took a 1-0 lead in the second Brent Rooker singled in the run for the tie. Trailing 4-1 in the fourth Luke Raley hit a bases loaded double to tie the game. With a 5-4 deficit in the fifth inning, Andy Wilkins blasted a home run for the tie. That would be the last time for the chance to come back as the potential catch up runs were left stranded in the ninth inning. Brian Navearreto had a three hit night but no chance to produce a run was available. Luke Raley finished the night with three hits as well. Sunday the Lookouts send Anthony Marzi to the mound to face Justin Donatella in game four. Air time on MiLB.com and 96.1 is set for 2:50 EDT.
