
Thorns FC Conclude NWSL Fall Series with Road Match against OL Reign

Portland Thorns FC conclude the NWSL Fall Series with a road match against Cascadia-rival OL Reign this evening at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Wash. Portland's final match of 2020 kicks off at 5 p.m. (Pacific) and will be streamed live on Twitch.
Currently sitting in second place in the Fall Series standings, Thorns FC can secure the Verizon Community Shield and earn a $25,000 grant for their chosen partner, Mimi's Fresh Tees, with a win against OL Reign. The Fall Series' second-place finisher will win $15,000 for their partner; third place earns a $10,000 grant.
Portland is unbeaten in the Fall Series with a record of 2-0-1, outscoring its opponents 8-2 in those three matches. In the last meeting between Thorns FC and OL Reign, Christine Sinclair scored a hat trick and Rocky RodrÃÂguez tallied her first goal for the club in a 4-1 win at Providence Park on Sept. 30.
