GARY, Ind. - The RailCats are proud to announce a brand new on-field contest for the month of July that gives fans the chance of a lifetime. Hit a home run at U. S. Steel Yard and win $10,000.

Here's how it works: For every home game in the month of July, fans 18 and older at U. S. Steel Yard can sign up at fan information before the middle of the fourth inning. Then one fan will be chosen at random to take three swings to hit a home run. If the ball clears the wall at U. S. Steel Yard, they'll win $10,000 dollars!

It is an opportunity to write your name in the history book of U. S. Steel Yard. Become the first fan ever, to jump from the stands to the batter's box and launch one over the wall.

Join us for July JACK-pot for your chance to witness history prior to the seventh inning of every game in July. It all begins when the RailCats host Fargo-Moorhead from July 11-14 at U. S. Steel Yard and from July 22-25 when the RailCats host Sioux City.

To participate in July JACK-pot, fans must be 18 years or older and cannot be neither a coach nor professional baseball or softball player within the last five years. Full rules for July JACK-pot will be available at Fan Information.
