SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings (10-3-1) saw their two-goal lead disappear late in the second, but Linden Bahm's third-period power play goal lifted the RiverKings 3-2 over the Peoria Rivermen (9-4-1) on Friday night on Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center.

The RiverKings struck first 13:31 into the opening frame. Sam Higgins brought the puck down the right wing side and threw the puck toward the front of the net where he found Ben Rubin who lifted the puck over a diving Kyle Rank to put the RiverKings on top 1-0.

Peoria found their offensive stride in the second period. After Mark Pustin's breakaway goal put the RiverKings up by two, the Rivermen notched two of their own. Alec Hagaman found a loose puck behind Peter Di Salvo and buried it to cut the RiverKings' lead to one. Then, with 23 seconds left in the middle frame, Matt Summers nudged his puck past Di Salvo to tie the game at two going into the third.

In the third, the RiverKings took the lead once again. With Matt Summers in the penalty box for hooking, Linden Bahm deflected an Ian Young past Kyle Rank to push the RiverKings ahead 3-2 with 10:09 left in the third.
