UPCOMING EVENTS... Friday, January 23 Pirates vs. Bridgeport Sound Tigers 7:00 p.m.
Kevin Kaminski Bobblehead Night! For the first time in five seasons, the Pirates will give away bobbleheads at a home game. The first 2,000 fans at this game will receive a Kevin Kaminski bobblehead, sponsored by MEMIC.
Plus, over the past four weeks, 15 high school students from Casco Bay High School have formed Pirate Productions Inc. The group of students are preparing to sell tickets and present the Pirates game on Friday.
All individual tickets purchased from the students at Casco Bay High School will be $9.00. With every ticket sold through the online store or in person from a Casco Bay High School student, $2.00 will be donated towards Casco Bay High School's library and technology needs.

Saturday is Labatt Blue Light Hockey Night in Portland! Come get the full night experience, including Labatt drink specials at local restaurants.

Click the AHL Live icon on the left side of the home page or in the local Portland area fans can also listen to the U.S. Cellular Pirates/Radio Network. The U.S. Cellular Pirates/Radio Network includes the Pirates flagship station, The Bay 1400AM and 1490AM (Portland) and affiliates WEZR 1240 AM (Lewiston-Auburn), WTME 780 AM (Rumford) and WKTQ 1450 AM (South Paris).

Cast your vote for the Pirates Hall of Fame
The Portland Pirates have announced that four players will be on the ballot for induction into the Portland Pirates Hall of Fame presented by Unum. Forward Mike Boback, forward Chris Jensen, forward Darren McAusland and former owner, the late Tom Ebright, are all eligible for induction in 2008. Voting ends on Monday, January 26.
United Way Pantry Project
Hungry people in Greater Portland are getting a little help from the Portland Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center. The Pirates and the Civic Center have joined the Pantry Project, a food gathering program organized by United Way of Greater Portland to benefit Preble Street and other food pantries in the area.

Dineen on WJAB 96.3FM
On Tuesday morning, Portland Pirates head coach Kevin Dineen will join "The Morning Jab" with Shoe and Joe at 9:00 a.m.
Kaminski on WJBQ 97.9FM
On Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m., Kevin "Killer" Kaminski will chat live with "The Q Morning Show" about his upcoming bobblehead giveaway on Friday night. Kaminski played for the Pirates during their inaugural season in 1993-94, as well as 1994-95 and 1997-98. In 113 games with Portland, he recorded 37 goals, 54 assists and 797 penalty minutes. Kaminski was inducted in the Portland Pirates Hall of Fame in 2000 and is currently the head coach of the Mississippi RiverKings of the CHL.

This Thursday, Portland Pirates head coach Kevin Dineen will join the Captain and Celeste on WBLM 102.9FM at 8:30 a.m. Tune to hear Dineen's thoughts on the upcoming weekend.

Assistant Coach Eric Weinrich will make his weekly appearance on "The PM Jab" with Chris Sedenka Thursday at 4:45 p.m. Tune in for your chance to win free tickets to an upcoming Pirates game!
