11-Year-Old Boy Wins $1,000 At B-Sens Game

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Ryan MacDonald, an 11-year-old boy from Johnson City, became the first winner of the Endicott Precision $1,000 shot on goal promotion on Saturday night during the first intermission of the B-Sens game against Bridgeport.
"Endicott Precision and the Oliveira Family started the precision shot on goal to create added excitement for the fans of the Binghamton Senators," said Endicott Precision's general manager Ron Oliveira. "It appears that now we have achieved that objective. Congratulations to the young man who was successful and we look forward to another winner in the future."
The Endicott Precision $1,000 shot on goal promotion takes place during the first intermission at every Binghamton Senators' home game. One contestant gets two shots from center ice and must successfully put the puck through a four-inch hole on the Endicott Precision $1,000 shot on goal board, which is placed in front of the goal cage.
MacDonald, the 21st contestant of the season, will receive $1,000 from Endicott Precision.
The B-Sens return to home ice on Wednesday night when the Philadelphia Phantoms visit the Arena for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Good seats remain for this contest. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling ticket master at 722-7272, or at the Arena box office inside the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
