The Party Returns to TD Place for Wednesday Night Football

September 20, 2021 - Canadian Football League (CFL) - Ottawa RedBlacks News Release

OTTAWA - TD Place will once again be the place to be for REDBLACKS football this week as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats come to town for a rare Wednesday night clash.

As the REDBLACKS look to get back into the win column with the important East Division game, there will be plenty more going on for the fans spending their Wednesday at the stadium.

Here's what to expect:

- Honouring Brad: former star REDBLACKS receiver Brad Sinopoli will be honoured by the organization and fans on Wednesday night. Sinopoli played five years with the REDBLACKS, recording at least 1,000 receiving yards in four of them while winning a Grey Cup in 2016.

- Celebrate a bud with Bud: Sinopoli was known as one of "The Buds" during his time in Ottawa, so what's more fitting than a $5 can of Bud at Wednesday's game. Available at Gate 1 starting at 6:00 PM until kick-off at 7:30PM.

- Live tunes: There's nothing like good jams to get you in the mood for the big game. Pre-game on Wednesday. Don't miss The Young Petty Stones performing their brand of rock covers songs while channeling The Rolling Stones mixed with the country-rock sounds of Neil Young & Tom Petty.

Good seats are still available.
