On Saturday evening, history was made during Inter Miami's match against D.C. United. A moment that will be remembered forever at the Club and across MLS. Mexican midfielder and Designated Player Rodolfo Pizarro etched his name into history books by scoring Inter Miami's first MLS goal. It happened shortly before the second minute of the game when rookie Robbie Robinson recovered the ball in midfield and commanded a counterattack before playing a pass to winger Lewis Morgan, who delivered a clinical low-cross into the box for Pizarro to finish at the back post.

Numbers behind the historic goal:

Total minutes: It took Inter Miami 91 minutes and 48 seconds of play in the league to register the club's first goal. The goal came 1 minute and 48 seconds into the second match.

Total seconds: When Pizarro scored the goal, the team had played exactly 5,508 seconds in the league.

Total shots: The historic goal happened after Inter Miami's 17th shot in MLS, and first shot against D.C. United. After two matches the team has registered 31 shots.
