Kelowna, BC - AM 1150 is Kelowna's connection for News, Talk and Sports and is proud to announce teaming up once again with the Kelowna Rockets organization to be the official station of our hometown WHL team for yet another FIVE years.

Darren Robertson, Program Director for AM 1150 says, "We've provided our listeners and our Kelowna Rockets fans with quality play by play broadcasts for over 10 years and are excited to continue that tradition."

"The Kelowna Rockets organization is extremely proud and excited regarding today's announcement of our new 5 year play-by-play broadcast agreement. We have just completed our 10th year on the dial at AM 1150, and look forward to many more. The radio industry has seen many changes since our original deal was signed, but constant through ownership and name changes has been the drive to consistently deliver the best play-by-play broadcast of any team in the Canadian Hockey League. I believe they have done that and will continue to do so for the next five years and beyond", stated Rockets President and GM, Bruce Hamilton.
