The Famous Chicken is Coming to Anaheim
February 7, 2008 - NBA G League (G League)
Anaheim Arsenal News Release
Anaheim, Calif., February 7, 2008 - The Anaheim Arsenal of the NBA Development League will play host to The Famous Chicken at their game on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 3:00 PM. The Famous Chicken, also known commonly as The San Diego Chicken, has reached icon status as a sports and entertainment personality throughout the nation and the world. In his element as an outrageous comic actor, he's as unique and gifted a humorist as any stage has ever seen.
Unlike Hollywood or Broadway, Ted Giannoulas' Chicken comedy sports shows are high risk improvisations during actual games among a supporting cast of non-actors, with no script, no rehearsal and no second takes. All of this takes before an audience of thousands, plus live broadcasts.
The Arsenal will take on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants the NBA Development League affiliate to the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. Tip-off is at 3:00 PM. For more information about the Anaheim Arsenal, call (714) 635-BALL or visit www.anaheimarsenal.com.
