Rage and 14ers Support Community Food Share

Broomfield, Colo. - In conjunction with Colorado 14ers basketball and Rocky Mountain Rage hockey, Broomfield Sports and Entertainment is set to conduct a drive on Feb. 11-12 to collect non-perishable food items to be donated to Community Food Share.

Fans can bring a canned food item to the Broomfield Event Center box office to receive a $6 ticket to the Colorado 14ers basketball game versus the Albuquerque Thunderbirds on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. Fans can also buy one ticket and get one free to the Rocky Mountain Rage versus Colorado Eagles game on Feb. 12 at 7:05 p.m. with a donated food item.

The Broomfield Event Center Foundation will also be making a monetary donation to Community Food Share.

"Broomfield Sports and Entertainment staff and players volunteered their time this past summer to a Community Food Share Food Bank in Louisville," said Jennifer Reifman, Director of Game Entertainment and Community Relations. "We look forward to future endeavors with them."

"Community Food Share is excited to be partnering with the Rocky Mountain Rage and Colorado 14ers in order to reach out to the community to inform them of the issue of hunger," said Jim Baldwin, CEO, Colorado Food Share.

Single-game tickets for all other home Rage and 14ers games are on sale now and range in price from $16-$40 per seat (parking included) for hockey and $10-$45 for basketball (parking included), and may be purchased through Ticketmaster.
