The Enforcer Returns to Ice Bears
January 3, 2006 - SPHL (SPHL)
Knoxville Ice Bears News Release
The Knoxville Ice Bears are happy to announce the return of "The Enforcer" Jeff Hansen to the Ice Bears! According to Coach Jim Bermingham, "Jeff is an aggressive, in your face hockey player. Jeff's style of play will make the Civic Coliseum a very unfriendly place for visiting teams the remainder of the season." Hansen will join the team for practice tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4th at 10am.
Hansen, at 6' 2", 225 lbs. is a fan favorite both on and off the ice. Hansen, with 167 penalty minutes last season, scored 3 goals, had 10 assists, kept the crowd going with his "Enforcer" attitude on the ice.
