The Story:
Orlando City will remain at Exploria Stadium for the second weekend in a row, hosting the LA Galaxy for the first time since 2019.
The Lions are looking for their second-consecutive win against the Galaxy, with their last matchup resulting in a 1-0 win for City during the 2022 regular season.
With the start on Saturday, Pedro Gallese will break the Club-record for appearances by an Orlando City goalkeeper. Gallese matched former Lions netminder Joe Bendik's mark of 92 this past weekend, with the Peruvian international already holding the Club-record for starts at 92, clean sheets (24) and goalkeeper wins (40) in all competitions.
Quote of the Week:
"The Galaxy are a team who plays very good soccer. They have players that are talented. They're trying to find their way and their rhythm and consistency. Despite the results, what we see there is a very competitive team that we are preparing to try and use our ways and our spaces and show that we are a team who can compete at the top of the table. We have to make it valid on the pitch and get those points, especially in front of our fans."
- Head Coach Oscar Pareja
