Amarillo Sod Poodles News Release
AMARILLO, Texas - Tickets for the first-ever "Red Dirt Rivalry" baseball game presented by Amarillo National Bank at HODGETOWN between the No. 3 ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders and No. 23 ranked Oklahoma Sooners go on sale Wednesday, February 17 at 9 a.m. The non-conference matchup is set for April 20 and is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. HODGETOWN will operate at a reduced capacity to ensure guests have the space they need to remain socially distant.
"This is an exciting event we are really happy to bring to Amarillo and one we have been working on since HODGETOWN first opened its doors," said Sod Poodles President and General Manager, Tony Ensor. "We're proud to bring two of the nation's best collegiate baseball programs to face off at HODGETOWN and what a great way to kick off the 2021 Sod Poodles Baseball Season!"
Tickets can be purchased on February 17 online starting at 9 a.m. at SodPoodles.com or HERE, over the phone at 806-803-9547, or in-person at the HODGETOWN box office. Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket pricing ranges from $8 to $20 depending on seat type and location. For more information on hospitality areas, including luxury suites and picnic areas, please call 806-803-7762 or email groups@sodpoodles.com.
Full food and beverage operations including concourse concessions and Bar 352 will be open. Additionally, the Sod Poodles team store will be open from 5:30 p.m. (gates open) until all attendees have left the park.
Per Texas Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order on July 2, face coverings are required for individuals age 10 and older in public areas.
