FRISCO, TEXAS - The Texas League announced on Friday that Frisco RoughRiders outfielder Teodoro Martinez has been selected to replace injured San Antonio outfielder Reymond Fuentes on the South Division All-Star team. With the addition of Martinez, Frisco boasts eight Mid-Season All-Stars, tying the Arkansas Travelers for the most selections among Texas League teams.

Martinez, 21, will be making his second All-Star game appearance, and it will be his third inclusion on an All-Star roster. He was selected as a Mid-Season All-Star in the Dominican Summer League in 2009, and he was a Post-Season All-Star in the Arizona League in 2010 when he hit a career high .313.

Martinez joins second baseman Odubel Herrera, first baseman Brett Nicholas, utility infielder Guilder Rodriguez and catcher Tomas Telis among position players selected to the South Division squad. Pitchers Carlos Pimentel, Neil Ramirez and Ben Rowen round out the group of eight Frisco honorees.

The Texas League All-Star Game presented by Castrol will be played at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. CDT on June 25, preceded by the Home Run Derby presented by Tyson Foods at 6:00 p.m.
