
Teens Make A Difference Awards Monday With 66ers

San Bernardino, CA - The Inland Empire 66ers are partnering with the Arrowhead United Way for a special Teens Make A Difference Awards ceremony prior to the 66ers game Monday, May 21st at San Manuel Stadium. The ceremony will celebrate all of the local high school teens who have volunteered in the community for their outstanding service in our local libraries, hospitals, schools, nonprofits and community based organizations.
The Inland Empire 66ers have donated 800 tickets for this event and have also donated a concourse table, social media advertisements and multiple in game promotions to the United Way for this special event. "Any time we can partner with a community organization like the United Way the benefits are reaped on three different and special levels," said 66ers Assistant General Manager Ryan English about the event. "The organization gets a great platform for their cause, the 66ers get a better atmosphere with the engaged group at the game, and most importantly our community as a whole sees the greatest benefits with our two organizations working together on their behalf."
Teens Make A Difference Awards night will take place Monday, May 21st prior to the 66ers matchup with their I-10 rivals the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. It will also be a Man's Best Friend Monday, presented by the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, where fans can bring their dog to the ballpark for the game.
The Arrowhead United Way has been helping support health and human services in the Inland Empire for over 120 years. It is one of the oldest United Ways in the country. They are working to advance the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. By focusing on education, income and health they strive to bring about lasting changes that address community problems.
The 66ers have tickets are on sale now for Monday's game as well as all of the remaining home games including the 4th of July fireworks spectacular at San Manuel Stadium.
