Team White Edges Team Black 4-3 in OT at Winnipeg ICE Training Camp Showcase Game

Winnipeg, MB - Mike Ladyman scored mid-way through overtime as Team White edged Team Black 4-3 in front of a packed RINK Training Centre at the Winnipeg ICE Training Camp Showcase Game on Sunday.

Ladyman scored at the 3:33 mark of the extra frame, firing one low glove side on Team Black goaltender Will Gurski.

2002-born forward Michael Milne led the way for Team White, registering a goal and an assist. 2003-born forward Ethan Sundar and 2001-born forward Nino Kinder added the others for Team White.

2004-born forward Matthew Savoie, 2002-born forward Owen Pederson and 2000-born forward Austin Schellenberg scored for Team Black. Schellenberg scored in the final minute to send the game to OT.

The Winnipeg ICE begin its pre-season schedule on the road against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday, September. The following day, the ICE host the Wheat Kings at Stride Place in Portage La Prairie.
