
Team Returns from Chile Undefeated

The Dallas Burn returned from Chile this morning after going 4-0-1 during their two-week stint in Chile. As a result, the team's overall preseason record now stands at 9-2-2. The Burn closed out their Chile trip with a 4-1 victory over Palestino yesterday. After conceding a goal in just the ninth minute, the Burn stormed back with four unanswered tallies in the second half. Jason Kreis continued his torrid pace, heading home a corner kick in the 60th minute and converting a penalty kick in the 65th. In the three games in which he played in Chile, Kreis tallied eight goals and overall in the preseason matches has notched an amazing 13 goals. Bruno Franca increased the lead to 3-1 in the 71st minute and Ronnie O'Brien, seeing his first action since suffering a stress fracture in his heel two weeks ago, added an insurance goal in the 88th minute. The team is off until Monday, when they will resume training at Blue Sky Sports Center in The Colony.

BURN TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE APRIL 3 AT DRAGON STADIUM
The Burn will hold an Open House on Thursday, April 3 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Dragon Stadium in Southlake. As part of the Open House, the team will conduct a full practice followed by an autograph session consisting of every player and coach on the team for all fans in attendance. Free food and drink will also be available to all fans in attendance. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to pick out seats for all season ticket packages and individual game tickets for Opening Day on Saturday, April 12 will be on sale as well.
BURN TO FACE KANSAS CITY IN TULSA ON APRIL 5
In a final tune-up before the start of the 2003 MLS season, the Burn will face the Kansas City Wizards in an exhibition match at Skelly Stadium on the University of Tulsa campus on Saturday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for the match may be purchased by calling the University of Tulsa ticket office at 918-631-4688.
