Team India Announces Roster Ahead of Historic Match

BRAMPTON, ON - At a press conference this morning at the Powerade Centre, Team India Head Coach Adam Sherlip announced the roster for Team India for the historic exhibition game between Team India and the Brampton Beast to be held on Friday, October 9th.
Sherlip made the announcement alongside the General Secretary of the Ice Hockey Association of India Harjinder Singh and Brampton Beast President and General Manager Cary Kaplan, and showed great excitement in seeing Indian ice hockey take the next step forward.
"Today was just one phase of completion for us," Sherlip said. "Announcing the roster and showing off the team's beautiful jerseys and really introducing Team India to Brampton and to the hockey world was very exciting for me and is an exciting time for the development of Indian ice hockey."
The roster is comprised of a combination of players from India as well as Canadian players of Indian descent who attended tryouts this past weekend.
