Guelph Storm News Release
The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Taylor Beck is the AMJ Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 21st.
Beck was the highest Storm scorer this week picking up four points, two goals and two assists, in the first two games of the Storm's Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Knights. Friday night in the 4-3 OT loss in London, the 18 year old set up Tyler Caroll for his first of the post season before netting his own later in the same period tying the game at two apiece. Sunday afternoon at the Sleeman Centre, Beck assisted on the Storm's first goal of the day and later brought his team within one with less than four minutes left in regulation scoring with the man advantage.
Next up, the Storm head to London for Game #3 of their Quarterfinal series before returning home to Guelph on Thursday for Game #4. Tickets are still available and lower bowl tickets can be purchased for just $10 by visiting or calling the Guelph Storm Box Office at 519-837-9690.
