College Park Skyhawks News Release
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - The College Park Skyhawks announced today that the team's broadcast of the games on January 29th and March 3rd will be called by Tas Melas, Trey Kerby and J.E. Skeets of the "No Dunks" podcast on The Athletic. Melas, Kerby and Skeets will provide game commentary and unique content on Peachtree TV against the Ontario Clippers on January 29th, and on NBA TV on March 3rd against the G League Ignite.
"We are so excited to bring Trey and Tas back on broadcast this year, and to have Skeets join us for the first time," said Atlanta Hawks Vice President of NBA G League and 2K Operations Janice Koon. "The No Dunks crew brings so much passion, fun and creativity to everything we do; it will definitely be an entertaining experience for our fans watching at home on Peachtree."
Prior to forming "No Dunks", Melas, Kerby and Skeets were co-hosts of the NBATV show "The Starters". Melas and Skeets previously co-founded and co-hosted "The Basketball Jones" podcast, blog, and TV show.
"We are so excited to be back on the broadcast with the Skyhawks," said Kerby. "No Dunks and College Park is a guaranteed classic."
The Skyhawks matchup against the Clippers on January 29th will be the second game in a row against Ontario, while the matchup against the Ignite on March 3rd will be the fourth all-time matchup between College Park and the Ignite.
Totaling four first-round draft picks in the team's four-year history, including last year's third overall pick and Georgia native, Scoot Henderson, the Ignite features London Johnson, a product of Norcross High School and former Hawks guard John Jenkins III, who was drafted by Atlanta in 2012 with the 23rd pick. Matas Buzelis rounds out the roster as a projected first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
