EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned Tarik Black, Anthony Brown and Ryan Kelly to the D-Fenders, it was announced today.
Black has appeared in eight games for the Lakers this season, averaging 3.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest. In one game for the D-Fenders last season, Black totaled 23 points (64.3 FG%), 12 rebounds and three assists.
Brown returns for his sixth game of the season with the D-Fenders. In the five games prior, Brown tallied 16.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Brown has played in three games for the Lakers this season, averaging 1.7 points per game.
In seven games for the Lakers this season, Ryan Kelly is averaging 3.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. In six career games with the D-Fenders, Kelly has averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
