
Tapia Drives in Four in 5-4 Loss

Bakersfield, CA. - For the second straight night, the Nuts dropped a walk-off decision against the Bakersfield Blaze with a 5-4 loss on Saturday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.
With Matt Carasiti (L, 3-7) on the mound for the Nuts (59-53; 26-16) and the bases loaded with one out, Austin Wilson hit a bouncer to first. Correlle Prime's throw to the plate was wide and the winning run scored on the throwing error to send the Nuts to the loss against the Blaze (44-68; 18-24).
Raimel Tapia drove in all four runs for the Nuts. In the third, Tapia smashed a three-run homer down the right field line. He also added to the Nuts lead with a RBI double in the seventh.
Aaron Brooks (W, 1-2) tossed a pair of scoreless and hitless innings out of the 'pen for the Blaze.
Antonio Senzatela tossed 5.1 innings allowing just two unearned runs while striking out five and walking two.
