Tampa Bay Recalls Kristers Gudlevskis and Mike Angelidis, Reassigns Andrei Vasilevskiy to Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis and center Mike Angelidis from the Syracuse Crunch, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. Tampa Bay also reassigned goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy to Syracuse.

Gudlevskis, 23, has appeared in one game with the Lightning this season, a 1-0 overtime loss against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 24 at United Center. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound goaltender was the game's third star, making 31 saves on 32 shots. He's played in two career NHL games, both with Tampa Bay, registering a 1.50 goals-against average and .957 save percentage. Gudlevskis has played in 12 games with the Crunch this season, posting a 6-5-0 record to go along with a 2.40 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage.

Angelidis, 30, has played in 10 career NHL games, all with the Bolts, recording one goal. He has not appeared in any game action with Tampa Bay this season. Angelidis has skated in 22 games with Syracuse this season while serving as the team's captain. He has registered two goals and eight points to go along with 24 penalty minutes.

Vasilevskiy, 21, has appeared in eight games with the Lightning this season, posting a 3-4-0 record to go along with a 2.94 goals-against average and .907 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound goaltender has played in 24 career NHL games, all with the Lightning, over the past two seasons, registering a record of 10-9-0 to go along with a 2.54 goals-against average and .914 save percentage. Vasilevskiy also appeared in four Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Lightning last year, registering a 1-1 record. He has played in four games with Syracuse this season, with a 2-1-1 record, a 2.24 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.
