Tampa Bay Lightning Reassign Mike Angelidis to Syracuse Crunch

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned forward Mike Angelidis to the Syracuse Crunch today, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.

Angelidis, 30, has skated in 15 games with the Crunch this season, recording a goal and four points with 24 penalty minutes. The Crunch captain ranks third on the team for penalty minutes. Angelidis has skated in 594 career AHL games, recording 120 goals and 249 points to go along with 1,241 penalty minutes.

A native of Woodbridge, Ontario, Angelidis has played in 10 NHL games, all with Tampa Bay, recording one goal. He was recalled earlier this season on November 19 and did not see game action.

The Crunch face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers today at 5 p.m.
