Talons Open 2009 Season At Home

The Tulsa Talons, of the arenafootball2 league, are excited to announce that their run at regaining the af2 championship will start at home on Saturday, March 28th versus the Lexington Horsemen. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.

The Talons' schedule includes a home and home series against their two biggest rivals, the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Arkansas Twisters. It also includes a home game against perennial af2 power, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers and the first ever visit to Tulsa by the Mahoning Valley Thunder. "The schedule this year will provide our fans the opportunity to see some Arenafootball2 teams that the Talons have never had home games against before. This along with some of the familiar teams that we see every year will really provide a great atmosphere for our fans to watch football at the new BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. As always we are currently working hard to put together another great team for the 2009 season and we look forward to making another run at the ArenaCup," said head coach, Mitch Allner.

The Talons will remain in the National Conference, Central Division, which will consist of two other teams, the Amarillo Dusters and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz.
