Talons Games Hit Texas TV with New Time Warner Cable Partnership

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (April 4, 2012) -- The San Antonio Talons announced today a partnership with Time Warner Cable (TWC) that will make Talons games available to more than one million TWC digital subscribers in Texas on the company's Texas Channel.
The Texas Channel is available to digital subscribers across Texas and offers a mix of syndicated and original local programming. Programming highlights include high school and college athletics from Time Warner Cable Sports, the Big 12 Conference, and the Southland Conference, as well as special events and Texas-themed outdoor and lifestyle shows. The Texas Channel can be found in markets including San Antonio (ch. 888), Austin (channel 888), Corpus Christi (ch. 888), Dallas (ch. 185), El Paso (ch. 24), Laredo (ch. 888), Rio Grande Valley (ch. 888), and Waco/Temple/Killeen (ch. 888).
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Time Warner Cable to make Talons football games available to our fans across the state," says majority owner David Lynd. "This partnership will allow new and existing fans to keep up with the Talons despite their location and give Texans a chance to watch professional football during the spring and summer months."

The San Antonio Talons kicked off their inaugural season in San Antonio at the Alamodome on March 10, 2012. The Talons, who feature an all-star roster, including AFL 2011 Offensive Player of the Year and ArenaBowl MVP Aaron Garcia, will play nine home games and nine away games during the 2012 regular season.
