Taliercio at Career Week

Lafayette, LA - IceGators rookie Chris Taliercio and community and media relations director Ryan Stanzel attended Evangeline Elementary on Wednesday as part of the school's career week festivities. The IceGators were also at the school Tuesday, when Daniel Goneau and Bruce Richardson visited the French Immersion programs.
Taliercio stressed the importance of getting a good education no matter what your career choice. He also said that choosing something you'd like to do is important, as it gives you goals to reach. A picture of the speech is at the bottom of this press release.
The IceGators board the bus for Columbus, Ga., late this evening and venture north. Louisiana plays the Cottonmouths Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. (ct), then plays in Biloxi against the Mississippi Sea Wolves on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
