
Talib Zanna Named to NBA D-League All-Star Game

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 12, 2015 - Oklahoma City Blue forward Talib Zanna was named to the 2015 NBA Development League All-Star Game, it was announced today by the NBA D-League. Zanna will replace JaMychal Green of the Austin Spurs, who is currently on an NBA roster. The ninth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game will be played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 15.
In 32 games (23 starts) this season, Zanna is averaging 13.2 points and 10.9 rebounds in 27.3 minutes while shooting 63.3 percent from the field. Zanna ranks third in the league in offensive rebounds (4.4 per game) and fourth in double-doubles (18). He is one of five D-League players to average over 10 points and 10 rebounds while shooting over 60 percent.
The Nigerian native joined the Blue after spending the 2014 NBA preseason with the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 4.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in seven exhibition games.
Zanna will join Blue teammate Semaj Christon on the Western Conference Prospects All-Star Team. The NBA D-League All-Star Game will tip off Sunday, Feb. 15, at 1:30 CT and will air live on NBA TV.
