Talen Energy Stadium to Host United States Men's National Team for International Friendly

CHESTER, Pa. - In conjunction with U.S. Soccer, Keystone Sports and Entertainment announced today that the United States Men's National Team is set to visit Talen Energy Stadium for an international friendly.

Kicking off on Monday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Stars and Stripes will host Bolivia in the contest. Philadelphia Union Season Ticket Members and Corporate Partners will receive an email with details about a ticket pre-sale, set for Tuesday, March 20 and Wednesday, March 21.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. ET through ussoccer.com. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 1-800-298-4200 and at the Talen Energy Stadium ticket office. Groups of 20 or more can order at ussoccer.com. Additionally, the match will be broadcast on FS1, UniMas and UDN.

This contest represents the third time that the MNT has played at Talen Energy Stadium, following a 0-0 draw on October 12, 2010 vs. Colombia (friendly) and a 1-1 draw (2-3 loss on penalties) on July 25, 2015 vs. Panama (2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Third Place match).

The United States has also visited the Philadelphia area on six other occasions, playing at Lincoln Financial Field five times, most recently this summer for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup Quarterfinal, where the Stars and Stripes won 2-0 against El Salvador (July 19).

Previously, the MNT played additional contests at Lincoln Financial Field in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2016, while also playing at Temple Stadium on September 25, 1968, which was the side's first-ever match in Pennsylvania. Overall, the MNT is 5-2-3 in Pennsylvania, including a 4-1-3 mark in the Greater Philadelphia region.
