Tailgate with the Utah Flash, Pepsi and Maceys

PROVO, Utah, March 4, 2009 - The Maceys Grocery Store in Spanish Fork will host the first of four Utah Flash Tailgate Parties this month as the Flash gear up for an eight-game homestand in March that will help determine the winner of the NBA Development League West Division and a position in the 2009 NBADL Playoffs.
The first Flash Tailgate is Saturday (March 7) from noon to 2 p.m. at the Maceys located at 187 E 100 N in Spanish Fork, just off the I-15 Exit 257 to the east. The festivities will take place at the entrance to the store and are set to include random appearances by the Flash Fox, Pinnacle Dancers, as well as Flash players and staff.
"We are excited to give Flash fans an opportunity to gather and get pumped up for our March stretch run," Flash team president Joe Brown said. "I can't think of a better way to get ready for eight straight home games than to enjoy some Pepsi products, as well as Seven-Up Pop-A-Shot, Guitar Hero and NBA 09 The Inside PS3 competitions before doing your weekly grocery shopping at Maceys."
Flash fans and Maceys customers will compete in Pop-A-Shot, NBA 09 The Inside and Guitar Hero for Flash merchandise and tickets to selected Flash home games in March. NBA 09 The Inside gamers can play as the Flash against other NBA and NBA D-League teams. Random ticket give-aways to customers and store employees are also scheduled as part of the fun.
