TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (7-2-4, 28 points) hits the road for a Sunday evening matchup against Houston Dynamo 2 (7-4-1, 22 points) at AVEVA Stadium (5:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).

Defiance is unbeaten in its last nine games (6-0-3) dating back to April, soaring up the table and currently occupying the top spot in the Pacific Division. Wade Webber's side currently leads all of MLS NEXT Pro in goals scored (35) and goal differential (+20). Midfielder Marlon Vargas has scored in six consecutive games entering tonight's matchup, with a total of seven goals. Tacoma previously defeated Houston 4-1 at Starfire Stadium on May 1.
