TUKWILA, WASH. - After drawing 1-1 and losing the ensuing shootout against LA Galaxy II last weekend, Tacoma Defiance (8-3-6, 33 points) faces LAFC2 (2-10-5, 11 points) tonight at Titan Stadium (5:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
The two sides met earlier this year, with the clubs playing to a 1-1 draw that saw Tacoma win the following shootout on May 26 at Starfire Stadium.
In the middle of a seven-match unbeaten streak (4-0-3), Defiance sits in first place in the Pacific Division with 33 points, three points above Whitecaps FC II, with two games in hand.
Following the match against LAFC2, Defiance returns home to take on Whitecaps FC 2 on Sunday, July 30 at Starfire Stadium (12:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
