TUKWILA, WASH. - After drawing 1-1 with Timbers2 and winning the ensuing shooutout on Saturday at Providence Park, Tacoma Defiance (9-4-7, 38 points) faces Sporting KC II (9-6-5, 35 points) Wednesday night at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com). The two sides played earlier this year at Rock Chalk Park, drawing 2-2 with Sporting KC II winning the resulting shootout 5-4.

Following Wednesday's contest, Defiance stays at home to take on league-leading Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday, August 13 at Starfire Stadium (8:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
