KISSIMMEE, Fla. - New England Revolution II (11-5-6; 43 pts.) defeated Orlando City B (10-9-3; 34 pts.), 5-4, on Wednesday night at Osceola Heritage Park. Jordan Adebayo-Smith scored his 10th goal of the season, two Revolution Homegrowns found the scoresheet, and New England extended its unbeaten streak to seven with the victory.

Orlando City B found the score sheet first, taking the lead in the 13th minute through Robert Schlegel. Homegrown defender Peyton Miller equalized in the 25th minute, burying a half-field cross from midfielder Jake Rozhansky for his third goal of the season. Rozhansky's assist was his fourth helper of the season, and he is now tied for the team lead with Adebayo-Smith. Miller then set up New England's second goal, running in behind the Orlando defense and powering a ball across the six-yard box that was turned in by Orlando's Abdi Salim. Orlando tied the game in the 44th minute with Jhon Solis' tally, who was then sent off with a red card just minutes later. Revolution Homegrown midfielder Jack Panayotou gave New England the lead two minutes into first half stoppage time, converting off Adebayo-Smith's saved shot for his fourth goal of the year.

New England picked the second half up right where it left off with Revolution midfielder Joshua Bolma lobbing the ball over the Orlando goalkeeper to an on-running Adebayo-Smith in the 49th minute, who buried it. Bolma rounded out the scoring for New England after earning and converting a penalty in the 53rd minute. The spot kick was the first professional goal for the 4th overall pick in the 2023 MLS Superdraft. Orlando tallied two second half goals but was unable to match New England as Revolution II secured their 11th win of the year.

With Jordan Adebayo-Smith's 10th tally of 2023, he becomes the first player in Revolution II's four-year history to score 10 goals in a single season. The Englishman extends his impressive run of form having scored three times over his last four games and continues to lead the team in goals scored. New England also move to seven games unbeaten, which is the longest streak in team history.

New England returns to action on Sunday, August 13, when it welcomes Atlanta United 2 to Gillette Stadium. The match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET and streams live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

With the victory, New England is unbeaten in seven consecutive matches (3-0-4), continuing the squad's longest unbeaten streak in team history.

Forward Jordan Adebayo-Smith became the first player in Revolution II history to score 10 goals in a single season with his 49th minute tally.

Adebayo-Smith has now scored three goals in the last four games and recorded three shots, two on target in the match.

Revolution midfielder Joshua Bolma scored his first professional goal off a penalty kick and led his team with four shots.

Revolution midfielder Jack Panayotou scored his fourth goal of the season for Revolution II and surpassed 1,000 minutes in MLS NEXT Pro since 2022 with a 76-minute appearance.

Defender Peyton Miller scored his third goal of the season and caused an own goal with a cross in the 35th minute.

Midfielder Jake Rozhansky's assist on Miller's goal is his fourth of the season and ties him with Adebayo-Smith for the team lead.

Revolution II Interim Head Coach Marcelo Santos

On his initial thoughts after New England's 5-4 win:

Santos: "I thought the effort was tremendous. It is a very tough place to play with the conditions and the weather. They are a really good team. We played a game three days ago, so considering all of that, I thought the effort was outstanding. I thought in the beginning of the game, it took a little time for us to get into the game and we gave up the goal, but the answer after the goal was great. We showed that we could compete, and that we just need to stay concentrated throughout the game. I thought there were some tough moments in the game and that we could win the game more comfortably. But in the end, I'll give a lot of credit to the guys, and a lot of credit to their team for not giving up. I'm very happy for the three points."

On Peyton Miller's performance in the first half:

Santos: "We thought our chances, based on how they played as a very offensive minded team, we would have opportunities to create chances in transitions. I thought that was that goal. Peyton [Miller], I enjoy having him on the team, because he's very focused. He's concentrated in those moments. He put in a good effort, a tremendous effort, and I think that was the goal."

On Joshua Bolma scoring his first professional goal:

Santos: "I'm very happy for him [Bolma]. It was unfortunate for him because he was getting tired throughout the game because of the effort he was putting in in the midfield. When Jack [Panayotou] got injured, we had to keep Josh on the field, and he didn't stop. He didn't stop. We created a few chances with him at the end. Fantastic. Happy for him for the goal. I think this is just the beginning. Hopefully he continues and hopefully gets more goals."

On quick turnaround before facing Atlanta United 2 on Sunday:

Santos: "It's a tough schedule, having those three games. I think we have to wait until tomorrow and the next few days and see how the guys recover. We have a big squad, and we trust all the other guys. Some guys didn't get a lot of minutes so maybe we use some of them, but at this point, I think we just wanted to let the guys rest, enjoy this, and then think about Atlanta the next few days."
