TUKWILA, WASH. - After defeating Houston Dynamo 2 1-0 on July 2 for its seventh win of the year, Tacoma Defiance (7-3-5, 29 points) faces North Texas SC (5-6-6, 22 points) tonight at Starfire Stadium (8:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
The two sides have yet to meet this year, with both matches last season between the squads ending in 1-1 draws.
Defiance currently sits in second place in the Pacific Division with 29 points, while North Texas SC sits in seventh place in the Frontier Division with 22 points.
Following the match, Tacoma travels to take on LA Galaxy II on Sunday, July 16 at Dignity Health Sports Park (5:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
