T-Birds Weekend Home Games to be Broadcast on FSN

Kent, February 3, 2009 - The Seattle Thunderbirds home games on Friday, February 6, against the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Sunday, February 8, against the Vancouver Giants will be broadcast regionally on FSN.

"We are looking forward to having our home games this weekend broadcast on FSN," said T-Birds President and General Manager Russ Farwell. "We are excited for this opportunity to showcase our game and our brand new home, ShoWare Center."

FSN can be seen in the Puget Sound region on Comcast Cable channel 30 and on DirecTV channel 687. Shaw Cable will be producing the games for broadcast on FSN and across western Canada. Dan Russell and Bill Wilms, former T-Birds radio play-by- play and color analyst will be calling the action.

Friday's game against the Hurricanes starts at 7:35 p.m. while the Sunday game against the Giants starts at 5:05 p.m. Both games take place at ShoWare Center in Kent.

In between these two home games the T-Birds will travel to Kennewick to face the Tri-City Americans on Saturday, February 7, at 7:05 p.m.
