
Switchbacks Take on Roughnecks Saturday

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Wednesday, July 8, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC are looking for another win and three more points this weekend. Switchbacks FC have won the past seven consecutive matches and hope to continue that winning streak on the road in Tulsa.
Switchbacks FC will take on fellow USL Western Conference club Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday. This will be the first meeting between these two clubs, which are both playing in their inaugural USL season.
"We are looking forward to our first trip to Tulsa and keeping the momentum we have had at home on the road," said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "We know the Roughnecks are a quality team, so we have to play with energy and good quality."
As of today, Switchbacks FC (10-5-0) stand on top of the leader board in the USL Western Conference with 30 points; while Tulsa Roughnecks FC (4-8-3) have 15 points, though they have a shot at getting three more points when they play Orange County Blues FC on Thursday, July 9th .
