
Blues Head to Sooner State to Face Tulsa and OKC

IRVINE, Calif. (July 8, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC (7-7-1, 22 pts) begins a two-game road trip to Oklahoma to face Tulsa Roughnecks FC (4-8-3, 15 pts) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. PT and OKC Energy FC (7-5-4, 25 pts) on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. PT.
The Blues have faced both of these teams once already this season, and the final score was 1-0 in both. Tulsa defeated OC on May 16th behind former Blues forward Gibson's Bardsley's header early in the second half. OC defeated OKC on July 1st on Christofer Ramirez's seventh goal of the season.
OC is coming off a 2-0 loss at Arizona United SC on Sunday evening, after a herculean effort by former Blues goalkeeper Carl Woszczynski to stop all 13 shots the Blues had on goal. Tulsa and OKC both last played LA Galaxy II. Tulsa hosted LA on June 27th, dropping the match, 4-2. OKC visited StubHub Center on Sunday, earning a 1-1 draw.
Ramirez leads the Blues in goals, with seven on the season, and Didier Crettenand, Seung Ju Kim, and Christopher Santana each have three assists. Bardsley leads Tulsa with four goals, and Lucas Cordeiro has eight assists. OKC's Danni Konig is tied for the league lead in goals, with 11, and Casey Townsend leads the Energy with four assists.
