Switchbacks FC Will "Pack the Park" Friday Night

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Wednesday, July 29, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC are looking to even up the series with Los Dos at home this Friday.

Switchbacks FC take on LA Galaxy II Friday, July 31st at Sand Creek Stadium.

This is the second meeting between these two USL Western Conference clubs. The two first met in Los Angeles back on May 29th . That's when Switchbacks FC fell to Los Dos 1-2.

"This game against LA II is a big test for us," said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "We have been training hard to stay up in the top of the table and LA II is right above us. The players are really looking forward to this game and giving a quality performance at home."

Currently, LA Galaxy II (11-5-3, 36 points) stands four points ahead of Switchbacks FC (10-6-2, 32 points) in the USL Western Conference standings, having played in one more match than Switchbacks FC.

The rematch is Friday, July 31st at Sand Creek Stadium. It starts at 7 p.m. Switchbacks FC are hoping to "Pack the Park" with the help of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services.
