Colorado Springs, Colo. (Wednesday, July 29, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC is excited to welcome to the team Houston Dynamo short-term loanee Chandler Hoffman!

"I am very excited to join the Colorado Springs Switchbacks," said Chandler Hoffman. "I'm excited to come in and contribute to the team to help make a push for the playoffs and ultimately the USL Championship. The team has a talented group and I look forward to getting to work."

Hoffman was selected by the Dynamo in Stage 2 of the 2014 Re-Entry Draft for Major League Soccer. He signed on with the Dynamo in December of 2014.

2015: Hoffman started in two U.S. Open Cup matches for Houston Dynamo. He also made five substitute appearances in MLS play. 2014: Hoffman made eight appearances for the LA Galaxy, as he has spent most of his time on loan with fellow USL Western Conference Club LA Galaxy II, where he scored 14 goals in 19 games. He was also named to All League USL. 2013: Hoffman was traded to LA Galaxy. He played in the CONCACAF Champions League with LA Galaxy and scored a goal for the first team.

2012: Hoffman was selected by the Philadelphia Union in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft and appeared in seven games. While there, he scored the game winner against the German club FC Schalke. He was also loaned to the USL's Harrisburg City Islanders.

In college, Hoffman played for UCLA, where he was a three-year letter winner, a MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, a Third team All-American, and a First team All-Pac 12. He is also the first player from Alabama to play soccer at UCLA.

Hoffman is the second short-term loanee from the Dynamo. The Switchbacks FC's Taylor Hunter is also on loan.
