Colorado Springs, CO - The USL Championship announced that the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC have been nominated for the "Best Community Assist" award after visiting the Children's Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs. Superhero's joined the Switchbacks' mascot Ziggy and players Jordan Schweitzer, Ibrahim Yaro, and Kwasi Donsu on September 24, 2019 to spread smiles to the patients.
The award is part of the USL Championships Fans' Choice Awards where the USL Championship is giving the fans the opportunity to recognize the players that went above and beyond for their community this season.
