Switchbacks FC Mutually Part Ways with Verneri Valimaa

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC News Release
Colorado Springs, CO -The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC officially announced today that they have mutually agreed to part ways with Verneri Välimaa.
Verneri played in a total of six matches during the 2018 season with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. He totaled one start and 97 minutes minutes played as well as a start in the lone Switchbacks US Open Cup match to date.
The Switchbacks are on the road for the third round of the US Open Cup on Wednesday night against San Antonio FC. The Switchbacks then return home to face Saint Louis on Saturday night at 6 PM in the teams first repeat match up of the season. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive Ziggy bobble heads courtesy of FOX 21 News. Tickets start at just $12 and are available here. Fans 21+ can get $1 beer the first 30 minutes when gates open at 5:00 PM.
