Switchbacks FC Announce Postponement of May 14th Match

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and USL Championship announced last night the decision to postpone and reschedule their May 14th match against San Diego Loyal SC due to COVID-19 safety measures.

The number one priority of the club has been, and will always be, the health and safety of their players, coaches, and staff, as well as the players and staff of other clubs. After many discussions and conversations at all level of the league, the decision to postpone the match amid growing concerns of COVID-19 exposure was the best decision for all involved.

While no date has been set for a re-match, the USL Championship has announced an intention to find a new date for this match to take place.

The Switchbacks FC will next take on San Antonio FC, the No. 2 team in the Western Conference, on May 21st in TX. They return home on June 3rd for our Galactic Night, as they play Las Vegas Lights FC in front of the home crowd.
