Despite the early dominance by potent attacking side Colorado Springs in Week 9, RGV kept the match at reach by controlling pace and forced a two-goal comeback run which was sparked by two set piece plays from the corner kick spot in their 2-3 loss.
Defenders Frank Nodarse and Wahab Ackwei notched one goal apiece in Colorado Springs, a welcomed feat for RGV FC as they continue to struggle with offensive depth due to roster complications.
