
Swing, John Deere team up for playoffs

Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Swing of the Quad Cities along with John Deere have announced that they will partner to offer a reduced price on all tickets as Quad Cities begins its run at the Midwest League Championship at John O'Donnell Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
Regularly $9, Box Seats to the Swing's first home playoff game on Sept. 6 will be available for only $7 and Bench/Berm Seating will be $6. The first playoff game, in the best-of-three series, will be played at JOD. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30.
"We wanted to thank all of our fans for their support throughout this season," said Swing General Manager Kevin Krause. "We have had the pleasure of working with John Deere throughout the years and we thought this would be a great way to show our appreciation to all those who have supported this team throughout the season."
Playoff tickets are now available and may be purchased online at www.swingbaseball.com, by calling (563) 328-2000 or in the ticket office at John O'Donnell Stadium.
UP NEXT: The Swing will continue their battle with the Kane County Cougars in game three of a four-game series on Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and coverage on Progressive Talk AM-1270 will begin at 6:15 p.m.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS: U.S. Cellular Night at the ballpark will be on Wednesday, August 30, which will also feature the Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus as well as Frankie the Frankfurter, the famous racing Klement's hot dog. The homestand will conclude with a 97 Rock Thirsty Thursday on the final day of August.
