
Swider Breaks the 100 Point Barrier

The Knoxville Ice Bears would like to congratulate forward Kevin Swider in breaking the amazing 100 point barrier.
Playing in just 49 games this year, Swider leads the Ice Bear scoring arsenal and has amassed an astounding 101 points (33G 68A). He leads the league in several categories including Points (101), Assists (68), +/- (+32), and Game Winning Goals (6).
This is the first time Swider has broken the 100 point barrier in his short 4 year professional career. His next best scoring season came in 2002-2003 while also wearing an Ice Bear sweater. That year he scored an impressive 80 points (40G 40A) in 53 games played.
Fans can see Kevin and the first place Ice Bears in action this Thursday March 10th against the Columbus Cottonmouths, and then again on March 12th against the Macon Trax. Things are heating up and both games have serious playoff implications on the line!
