
Swedish player joins Storm

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Monday that Swedish forward Jimmy Jensen was added to the team's roster prior to last weekend's games against Des Moines.
Jensen, a native of Sodertalje, Sweden, played in both Storm games against the Buccaneers on Friday and Saturday. He recorded a power-play goal Saturday night for his first USHL point.
Prior to playing for the Storm, Jensen spent the 2006-07 season with the Under-20 Swedish Elite team. He played in 41 games and recorded six goals and 11 assists for 17 points last season.
Jensen will wear number three while playing for the Storm.
